Celebrating West End Girls Rugby

February 7 marks National Girls & Women in Sports Day! West End is proud of the tremendous accomplishments and longevity of our historical girls youth program— dating back to it's original inception in 1981 under Coach Daniel Carr.

During that time, the West End Girls had no local high school peers to play. The next best option? Competing against collegiate girls programs! 42 years later, our West End Girls have won numerous state titles and produced fantastic athletes & leaders off the pitch.

Girls youth rugby has come a long way since 1981, and we acknowledge there is much work still to be done! West End is proud to boast of our fantastic women playing, coaching, and growing the game including our HS Girls coaches Sarah Emory, alumni Abby Tobias, U14's coach Mo McInerney, U6 coach Stephanie Brown, and many more.
